TFMU Austin Zoom details

The night of June 26, 2020 was supposed to be the Austin TFMU meet and drink party. We can’t do it in person this year, so we’re bringing it online! This Zoom meeting is for the people that have made a financial commitment to attend TFMU Austin. For registration info, see : https://www.tfmutwificmeetup.com/tfmu-2021-registriation

The link to the Zoom meeting will be posted only in the secret Facebook group for attendees. To be added to the group, register or make a deposit in any amount to show your commitment to attend TFMU Austin.

With potentially over 80 people joining, we’re going to set some guidelines so it doesn’t get too crazy.

We’re going to share the link earlier in the evening with our European ladies so they can chat for a bit before bed. Then at 8:00 pm on the east coast, the link to the Zoom meeting will be posted in the Austin Facebook group. You can join at any time and come and go as needed.

Ausha and Jessica will be moderating the meeting. Upon entry to the meeting, attendees will not be muted. As more people join, if it starts to get chaotic, the moderators will decide if/when to mute everyone. If you’re muted and you want to say something, use the Zoom chat feature to let Ausha or Jessica know and they will unmute you.

We also have the option to use the Breakout room feature in Zoom. If moderators find people are dominating the conversation with one topic, they will offer to move them into a Breakout room with other users. You may also request a Breakout room. You can return to the main meeting room at any time.

At some point later in the night, we’ll probably do a ‘see you next year’ toast, but there is no set time for the meeting to end.

If you’ve never used Zoom and want to make sure you can seamlessly join on Friday night, Ausha will do some trial sessions on Thursday for anyone that needs help. PM her for details. She’s more than willing to answer any questions about using Zoom.
